Dear customers,
we will discontinue the support of the TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols for the above services at 13 CET (12 UTC) on 10th of February 2021. This change affects access to the services via HTTPS. Since the beginning of 2020, current browsers and E-Mail clients from the well-known manufacturers only support TLS from version 1.2.
NOTE: If you are not using browsers or E-Mail clients older than 5 years, there is no need for action on your part. There will be no reduction in service availability during the transition.
TLS is a hybrid encryption protocol, the latest version of which is 1.3. The support of versions 1.0 and 1.1 is being phased out, as they no longer meet the current security standard. TLS 1.0 has not been part
of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) since 30 June 2018. The BSI has also recommended the non-use of TLS 1.1 since its Technical Guideline (TR-02102-2) of January 2019.

wir werden am 10. Februar 2021 um 13 Uhr MEZ die Unterstützung der Protokolle TLS 1.0 und TLS 1.1 für die genannten Services einstellen. Diese Änderung betrifft den Zugriff auf die Services über HTTPS. Aktuelle Browser und E-Mail Programme der namhaften Hersteller unterstützen seit Anfang 2020 bereits nur noch TLS ab Version 1.2.
HINWEIS: Sofern Sie keine Browser oder E-Mail-Programme nutzen, die älter als 5 Jahre sind, besteht kein Handlungsbedarf Ihrerseits. Während der Umstellung kommt es zu keiner Einschränkung der Verfügbarkeit der Services.
Bei TLS handelt es sich um ein hybrides Verschlüsselungsprotokoll, dessen aktuellste Version 1.3 ist. Die Unterstützung der Versionen 1.0 und 1.1 läuft aus, da sie nicht mehr dem gängigem Sicherheitsstandard
entsprechen. So gehört TLS 1.0 bereits seit dem 30. Juni 2018 nicht mehr zum Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Auch das BSI empfiehlt seit seiner Technischen Richtlinie (TR-02102-2) vom
Januar 2019 die Nicht-Verwendung von TLS 1.1.
